Join CEO Roundtable, Boost Your Business!

Louisiana Economic Development's CEO Roundtables bring together groups of 15 to 18 key decision makers from Louisiana-based small businesses 10 times over the course of a year for collaborative, growth-oriented roundtable sessions that support a trusting environment in which CEOs can safely explore business and personal issues with the guidance of experienced facilitators. Participation in the roundtables provides access to numerous benefits, including: Peer-to-peer learning through discussion, interaction and the sharing of experiences that allow participants to learn from each other’s achievements and mistakes, and support through highly qualified facilitators, expert guest speakers and connection to various small business resources.

Principal Place of Business – The company must have maintained its principal place of business in Louisiana.
Annual Revenue – The company should have annual revenue between $600,000 and $50,000,000.
Employees – The company should employ at least five but not more than 100 employees.
External Markets – The company should deliver products or services to customers outside the company's local market area or demonstrate the capacity to do so.
Lawful Function – The company must be organized for profit to perform a lawful, commercially useful function.
Growth – Additional consideration will be given to companies that can demonstrate high growth potential.
Participant Profile – Participants must be a CEO, business owner or key decision maker in the company.

Makers Meetup with NWLA MakerSpace

A Makerspace is like a Gym for Makers; a place to learn new art and technology with like-minded people; to work with equipment you can't afford to own or store at home; and a creative center trying to fill our community with makers who can bring their love of craft, hobby, art, or skill to new levels. Our community wishes to build learning and teaching opportunities, as well as provide valuable networking resources with makers of all kinds.  Cohab will be hosting our monthly Maker Meet Up to bring about a network of makers and discuss upcoming events for the future. Makers are welcome to bring their craft or art to work on during this meeting, and any ideas and/or concerns are open for discussion. If you're not a maker yet, we'd still be happy to welcome you to this meeting, as we hope you'll share your opinions and ideas as well.
