Cohab: Collaboration is Key
(Taken from "The Shreveport Times")

At Cohab, we use the word collaboration a lot. Really, we were founded on the idea of providing a space where small businesses and startup owners could work independently, but have each other to lean on and learn from when the going gets tough.

Some of the most valuable and inspiring things I’ve seen develop in Cohab have happened because two people came together with a shared vision and turned that vision into something tangible for their businesses.

Collaboration is a valuable tool in the entrepreneurial tool chest, but just like any tool, you need to be skilled and precise to make something beautiful with it.

Because collaboration, and the inspiration that comes from it, is only a small part of things.

Genius is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration.

First To Sell Out
Thank you to Marisa Roberson of Female Entrepreneurs The Movement for teaching us all about the keys to a successful vendor booth.  It was a great introduction to the Women in Business event, Ladies Day Out.  The chairs were packed as we networked over a fabulous healthy meal provided by Prepared Nutrition.

SBC Untapped
The Shreveport Times and Red River Brewing Company have partnered to create a monthly social.  The goal for the event is to shed some light on the many organizations our city has to offer and facilitate connection between SBC professionals with the group that best suits their business & social networking needs.
