Catching up...
It's been a quiet month for the public at work|space and CGP. But under the surface? Oh boy howdy we're cranking at full capacity! Highlights, then scroll down for more info:

Get written off. As of 2 weeks ago, CGP is a federally sanctioned non-for-profit business! This means access to a whole new world of grants and support. And of course, tax write-offs for you! More about our needs and initiatives below.

An EPIC April. Look left for info on our April shows. Up next, our first touring performance at work|space, featuring amazing regional and local dance! Tickets on sale now.

Restore. Slough off your work week with Friday afternoon Happy Hour Restorative Yoga. 4:30-5:30pm at work|space, led by CGP Assistant Director Kristine Whittle. Happy hour pricing! ($10/class)

Getting Romantik. Control Group's new work is coming up! (Look left for details.) To pique your interest, here's a selection from our photo shoot with Mark Sink and Kristen Hatgi. (full info)

Take the (funding) initiative.
On the road, on the floor, with boots on the ground, CGP needs you now! Our 501c3 couldn't have come at a better time. With the new venue and new developments in Control Group's activities, we need your help to take advantage of all the great stuff going on:

Share CGP with Durham, NC. Control Group is performing at the American Dance Festival this summer (yes, we know, RIGHTEOUS!), and we need your help to get the company to Durham, NC this July! $1,500 will bring our 4-person company to Durham for a week of performances, participation at ADF, and networking opportunities for further touring.

More floor! Our new venue is bigger (and badder!), and to get it fully outfitted we need to expand our flooring. We've received a generous loan of dance flooring from Mary Lynn Lewark to help us through the next couple months. $2,000 will purchase the dance linoleum and plywood to complete the permanent installation.

HOW TO DONATE. We're working on getting set up to process credit card and bank draft donations. In the meantime, the best way to contribute is by check. Make check out to "Control Group Productions" and send it to:

Denver, CO 80212

Work=Fun Day.
This Saturday 3/31, 12-7pm we'll be hard at work laying sub-floor, preparing our back-room studio, and getting the space ready for a couple months of amazing events. We'd love your help! Please RSVP to me at and come play at work|space this Saturday!

We've got class.

Our Education Program is gearing up! Join us for classes this spring, and let us know what you'd like to see in the near future!
