THE MAYOR'S MISSIVE

A Fair on the Square – that’s what we are calling it! The City of Ketchum invites you to celebrate what we have done, to share what we are doing and to have a voice in our future.
Your input is vital to creating a healthy community and a vibrant town. Come to Ketchum Town Square on Friday, May 25, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. to ponder our ideas and share your thoughts. Food, refreshments, music and kids' activities will make this a family-friendly occasion.

I am delighted that we are partnering with Blaine County School District, Mountain Rides, Blaine County Recreation District and Idaho Smart Growth, in this collaborative event to share some of the projects we are working on together.

The fair is your chance to help guide the various initiatives that we are working on. What are we doing about affordable housing? What is the potential new name for the light industrial area? Will the Fourth Street Heritage Corridor be completed? What is the city’s plan to address walkability and mobility? How do we help the next generation make Ketchum their home? Where is a potential new route for the sheep? What is the future for ebikes? Come hear our responses to these questions and much, much more.

There will not be much time for speeches but lots of time for fun and feedback. Participate all you want, or just see what’s up.

Please come along - we think it will be a happy affair.

Cheers,
Neil

WHAT'S GOING ON

 MAY 1 - 31
May is Mental Health Month
Nearly 44 million American adults suffer from mental health conditions each year, and the Wood River Valley is no different. As a city, we are joining with communities nationwide to promote mental wellness, support prevention efforts, and advocate for access to treatment for mental illness. Will you join us? Help us support, educate, and erase the stigma against mental illness.
