Supporting Success: IC Kollectif's First Anniversary
A year ago, Lise Michaud launched IC Kollectif, a global information hub that hosts the best Internal and Organizational Communication resources around the world. Launched in partnership with IABC/Montréal, the project became a global go-to resource.  Over the past year, IC Kollectif  gained industry, peer and academic recognition: from practitioners, consultants, professional communication associations, university instructors and researchers on 5 continents and established international partnerships with organizations based in the U.S., the U.K. and in Australia.

Check out IC Kollectif ‘s website, used by professionals from 88 countries, to discover a global community of best practices and to gain access to more than 2500 professional resources. In this online publication that marks IC Kollectif’s first anniversary, 30 senior communication professionals from around the world share why this Montréal-based project is adding value to the global IC community.
SOS 2017: Confidence Built On Shaky Foundations
The 9th edition of the State of the Sector research report highlights a number of surprising trends. Internal communication professionals became increasingly confident in their professional value, buoyed by increased demand for their services and greater respect by senior leaders. Nevertheless, this confidence is built on shaky foundations, with limited evidence of robust planning. Line manager skills are the number one barrier to communication success and measurement remains our Achilles’ heel.
A Home For The Periodic Table of IC
The Periodic Table of Internal Communication (IC) is now a web platform. Launched in the U.K. by Alive With Ideas Agency, the site is divided into seven sections related to communication planning processes  - Strategy, Objectives, Themes, Audiences, Formats, Channels and Metrics. The 150 elements are matched with referenced resources (videos, case studies, reports, etc).  The project has been designed as an ever-evolving source of information and communication professionals from around the world are invited to submit their sources.
