Welcome Back!

Hello educators! We hope your school year has gotten off to a fantastic start. We saw many of you at our Summer Institute trainings throughout the state and look forward to seeing you at our events throughout this school year! Because you are on this list you will always be the first to know when a new training is posted.

Partnership Program

Become a PEPSA Partner!  The Partnership program is designed  to enhance the capacity of  Florida teachers to provide quality education programs to students with autism spectrum disorder. Each year, PEPSA and CARD Statewide partner with teachers to implement evidenced based programs within classrooms.

Each educator will be matched to a Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) professional who will mentor the educator in developing a plan for implementing innovative and effective practices within their classroom. The CARD staff partner will provide support, resources, technical assistance, and training that is specific to the needs identified by the educator. In addition to embarking in this amazing professional development experience and impacting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), accepted partners receive:
  1. Registration fee and travel stipend ($450) to offset costs of attending Annual CARD Conference.
  2. Stipend ($300) upon the completion of the program to assist the educator or school leader with expenses associated with the Partnership Program.
  3. Certificate of completion to those who successfully complete the program.
  4. Opportunities and support to present your work professionally.
This is a competitive program.  Only 28 teachers, statewide, are accepted.
Application Deadline: September 28, 2018
