June

I bet you're asking yourself right about now, how are we in June already? Guess time flies when you're having fun!
Yep, it's June already and those summer days are here! And the heat will be too...Time for watermelon, lemonade and more salads...

School is almost out for summer.  Do you have a good plan in place for your child?  Let us know if we can help.  We pride ourselves on accelerating students during the summer months so they not only maintain what they have learned but take it to the next level.

We at The Behavior Exchange LOVE our summer days. Our center in Plano, Texas is buzzing during the summer days with kids, activities, learning, fun, therapists, parents dropping off and picking up their little ones. The energy is high and the excitement can be felt everywhere! It really is a great time of year for all of us at the center.

But we couldn't do it with out our clients, our kids, and our staff. I want to take a minute and say THANK YOU!

Thank you to all of our staff for doing such an amazing job this past half year. Your dedication and teamwork are what make our center so special! I want to say THANK YOU to all of our parents who have trusted us with their most precious belongings. And I want to give a big, HUGE, THANK YOU to all of our kids. Every single day, they bring a big smile to all of our faces and even though it is us who are teaching them, we learn so much from them every day.

Have an awesome start to the summer!

Tammy Cline-Soza, MS, BCBA

I learn from them every day

Ted Talks

Summer is a great time to start tinkering!

This month we bring you: Dale Dougherty: We are makers
America was built by makers -- curious, enthusiastic amateur inventors whose tinkering habit sparked whole new industries. At TED@MotorCity, MAKE magazine publisher Dale Dougherty says we're all makers at heart, and shows cool new tools to tinker with, like Arduinos, affordable 3D printers, even DIY satellites.

I hope this inspires you to start tinkering with things this summer. With anything!
