Improve Your Jazz Improv.
Take jazz Improvisation lessons at the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts in Winona- I still have room for a couple more students! Open to all instrumentalists at any level online or in person. Full details & how to register here.
MN State Arts Board Grant
Completed! I received from the MN State Arts Board for online recording and educational projects. There are two main portions to the grant: one was to collaborate online with other jazz artists to create a new CD.12 musicians contributed songs and tracks including: Guitarists Mike James (LaCrosse, WI) & Scott Gerry (Mpls, MN); bassists Larry Dalton (LaCrosse, WI & Eric Graham (Red Wing, MN), Denny McGuire (Rollingstone, MN); pianists Bert Dalton (Santa Fe, NM) & Eric Heukeshoven (Winona, MN); trumpeter Dave Lamoreux (Seattle, WA); and drummers Rich MacDonald (Winona, MN), Miles Johnston (Lake City, MN) and Jeff Strom (Winona, MN). The other project involves live-streaming my "What is Jazz" presentation for members of the Winona Friendship Center & recording it for YouTube. Links here.
