Support Group for Injured Dancers

A 10–week group for professional dancers who are dealing with or recovering from an injury. Through open discussion and the sharing of resources and healthy coping strategies, this group will provide a safe space for dancers to support one another at all stages of the healing process.

Copings Skills for Anxiety and Depression: An Integrative CBT Approach

Explore how your response to anxiety and depression are driving your symptoms and develop skills for reducing negative emotions in this 8 week psycho-educational group. Learn Techniques to gain productivity and peace in your daily life. Intake interview required. Group members must commit to attending all eight sessions. HIV & Relationships Group

An on-going weekly therapeutic support group for individuals with HIV looking to explore healthy ways of engaging in relationships. Through mutual support and feedback, members can gain awareness around beliefs, behaviors, and motivations that may be impacting their ability to achieve more satisfying relationships and lives. Common themes for exploration include HIV disclosure, stigmatization, sex and dating, self-image, and substance use.

This seminar is for anyone who will soon be getting Medicare and wants to learn more about how it works, or for anyone who currently has Medicare and has questions about it. It will be facilitated by an Actors Fund staff person and a volunteer trained by the Medicare Rights Center.
Reservations not necessary. You can just show up!

Every Artist Insured
Thursdays | 12:30–1:30 pm

This free workshop will help you understand the Affordable Care Act and provide you with clear guidance on all your health insurance options. We answer questions about Medicaid, subsidies, how to apply, and where to access care if you're currently uninsured.
