Diocesan Choral Festival
November 10, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
St. Mary's Cathedral, 700 Poplar Ave
Indiana University Associate Professor of Organ and Sacred Music and renowned composer and improviser, Bruce Neswick, will lead West Tennessee’s first-ever Diocesan Choral Festival at St. Mary's Cathedral. Bruce will work with choirs from every corner of the Diocese in a day-long workshop, culminating in a Choral Evensong at 4:00 pm. All are invited to the Evensong to hear one of our most beautiful liturgies sung by perhaps the largest choir ever amassed at St. Mary’s.
Election Day Communion
November 6, 5:30 pm

On Election Day at 5:30 pm, St. Luke's will host a service of Holy Eucharist. In doing so, we will join other churches of various denominations in remembering that regardless of party, political affiliation, or denomination, our allegiance to Jesus Christ is of greatest importance.
UTO Grant Applications
United Thank Offering grant applications will be accepted online only from January 1 - February 28, 2013. United Thank Offering grants are awarded for projects that address human needs and help alleviate poverty, both domestically and internationally within Anglican provinces, dioceses, and companion dioceses. Jubilee Ministry Grants
Applications for $1,000 and $750 Jubilee Ministry grants are now being accepted in two categories: diocesan initiatives and health and nutrition. Jubilee Ministries are congregations or agencies with connections to The Episcopal Church whose mission work affects the lives of those in need, addressing basic human needs and justice issues. Room in the Inn
Room in the Inn-Memphis is an ecumenical ministry of Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church that provides dinner and breakfast, a shower and a warm bed for homeless guests one night a week during the coldest winter months (October 1 - March 31). In addition to donating resources, your congregation can help by providing a night of shelter in your church building or helping provide a shelter night at Colonial. Click here for more information.
