19 persons were confirmed, three persons were received and 30 persons transferred their membership and/or renewed their Baptismal and Confirmation vows during the Bishop’s Visitation to St. George's, Germantown on April 21.

The St George’s, Germantown, Chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King admitted seven new members on April 7. The chapter has 25 active members who sponsor two Quiet Days each year, assist the clergy with funeral and memorial services, pray daily for those requesting prayers and participate in community service projects.

The Feast of St. Columba

Domestic Abuse Help and Hope

Help, hope and information will be offered in a one-hour presentation, sponsored by Diocesan ECW, that will include the film, "Pork Chop Day," produced by Jane Folk. The Rev. Dorothy Sanders Wells will offer reflections, and speakers from community groups will discuss resources for abused women. Please join us in the effort to erase domestic crime in West Tennessee. Ascension Day

Huge Parish Sale

St. Elisabeth’s is having a parish-wide yard sale on Saturday, May 11 from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm to clear out things they don't need in their new home and help fund their EYC mission trip. In addition to folding chairs and long banquet tables from the old church, the sale will include household items, clothing, craft supplies and much more. Drinks and “And also with Y'all” T-shirts will also be for sale. Come out to shop, see St. E's new location next door to St. Columba and help support the  youth!

Human Trafficking Awareness Workshop

Presenter, the Rev. Noelle Damico of White Plains, NY,  speaks frequently on the Church's role in advancing a human-rights based approach to addressing modern-day slavery.
