On April 8th our luncheon will be a special Panel Discussion about overcoming the "Wage Gap". On average women make 77 cents for every dollar made by their male counterparts. This panel will take an in-depth look at how the wage gap impacts women and their families, as well as what we can do to close the gap. Panelists include, Amanda Ceravolo, Director, Development & Communications for the YWCA, North Central Indiana. April Lidinsky, Director of Women ‘s & Gender Studies Program at Indiana University South Bend and Linda Baechle, President & CEO YWCA North Central Indiana.

Spotlight Member: Patti Spice


Patti Spice has lived in this area all of her life but she has traveled extensively throughout the country.  She is married to the love of her life, Jack, and they have four daughters and four grandsons. Patti enjoys date night with her husband, attending her grandson's school and sporting events, going to the beach, dancing, "girls night out", traveling, and vacationing in the tropics.  Patti has been in real estate for 18 years and she and her husband used to purchase homes to renovate and sell.  Several years ago she was introduced to the wellness industry through a simple sample of wonderful anti-aging products.  Since then Patti has developed a deep, God-given passion to educate people on wellness and she has been growing her Arbonne business by helping others to both look and feel better, all while creating a legacy that she will leave her family because my business is willable. There is no better time to join Women Business Owners of Michiana than right now! Join now and your membership will be auto-renewed on June 1st, extending your membership to May 31, 2015. For existing members, your renewals ($60) are due by May 31st. Any members who are not renewed will be cleared from the system on June 1st and you will need to reapply at the $75 new member rate.
