January Greetings!

Join us January 14th at Bonefish Grill for WBOM first luncheon of 2014!

Please join us at Bonefish Grill on January 14th, 2014 at 11:30, for your chance to learn from Edie Sutton.

As the Health and Human Sciences Educator for Purdue Extension, Edie Sutton provides researched based education to residents in St. Joseph County. Collaborating with various organizations, she has taught programs in the areas of financial management, health and nutrition, human development and parenting. Her tenure with Extension has spanned two states and over 28 years, working in St. Joseph County for the last 15 years. Edie is currently the county office director. She also supervises the Expanded Food and Nutrition Program which provides nutrition education to food stamp eligible families. She continues to provide educational programs in health
and nutrition.

Edie Will Be Speaking On: Understanding Generational Differences
All generations are not alike.  In today's families and workplace, we each deal with multiple generations.  Each generation has their own values, expectations and priorities. Rather than frustration and challenges, understanding what drives the various generations and how to work together
can build harmony at home and work.It is our chance to have a little fun and give some special gifts to our members.

Menu: TBD

To attend, you must RSVP and pay in advance using PayPal by Thursday, January 9, 2014.  Click HERE to RSVP.  Members – you must log in to get the member pricing for the luncheon!!!!

Because we are required to give a count to Bonefish the Friday before our lunch meeting, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins and late RSVPs. Because we pay for every meal ordered, we are unable to provide refunds, or carry forward your meal reservation if you are absent.

Make your reservations on the WBOM Website by January 9, 2014!  Click HERE to RSVP. Also there will no longer be checks accepted at the door. Payment is accepted through PayPal only.

Walk a mile to benefit the women and children of St. Margaret's House - February 16th, 2014

Every winter, we walk in solidarity with women and children whose everyday means of transportation is their feet, in any kind of weather.

The funds raised help St. Margaret’s House improve the lives of women who struggle with economic poverty. St. Margaret’s House is a safe, hospitable place where women and children can receive a hot meal, clothing, and help to discover their gifts, learn new skills, and create a better life for themselves and their families.

The needs have never been greater. You can make a difference by being a part of our eleventh annual Winter Walk, by walking a mile in her shoes. Register here

START PLACE - County City Building
Corner of Jefferson and Lafayette

Registration begins at 1:30
Walk kicks off at 2:30
Reception following at St. Margaret's House
