“Embracing the Community”

Join us on September 10th for an afternoon of networking and learning during our "Embracing the Community" luncheon. Our featured guest speaker is Jane Pits from Habitat for Humanity Women Build. Jane will share how Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County has embraced our community to serve lower income families for more than 26 years.

Please join us at Bonefish Grill on September 10th, 2013 at 11:30.

Menu: (all meals include bread, beverage and dessert)
 
Regular:  Fish tacos with side of spring green salad
 
Vegetarian: House salad with grilled veggies

RSVP on time deadline is September 5th, 2013.  We realize how life can carry us away sometimes but because we are required to give a count to Bonefish the Friday before our lunch meeting, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins and late RSVPs. Because we pay for every meal ordered, we are unable to provide refunds, or carry forward your meal reservation if you are absent.

With more than ten years in the senior-focused health care industry, Malana Maher launched M2 Health Care Consulting LLC where she uses her expertise and vast network of professional resources to assist families in navigating the multitude of difficult and complicated decisions they face as their loved one’s healthcare needs increase.  Her mission is to listen and help identify options that suit each unique situation and ensure her clients are confident that the choices they make are the most appropriate for their family.

A longtime resident of the Michiana Area and graduate of Bethel College, Malana is very involved in the local Michiana Community.  Current affiliations: Co-Chair – Michiana Gerontology Institute at Holy Cross College; Member - Board of Directors for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana; Advisory Council Member - Courtyard Healthcare Center & Greenleaf Health Campus in Goshen; Member - Women Business Owners of Michiana; Member - Granger Business Association; Member – Board of Directors for AARP Michiana; Member – Mishawaka Business Association.

WBOM Business After Hours
Join WBOM for an evening of networking and fun during our Business After Hours on August 20, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Corndance Tavern in Mishawaka. The cost is $10 and you can register via our website. 

Chamber Business Expo
Coming in September is the St. Joseph County Chamber Business Expo. As a WBOM Member we are offering you a chance to get your products and services in front of people who attend the Expo. You are eligible to donate gift items for our HUGE gift basket we give away at our booth at the Expo. Please consider donating a genuine gifts (not a discounts to buy your products or services). If you would like to take part, please bring your gift items to the September luncheon.
