XPand3200

The XPand3200 system redefines the limits of power, performance, and functionality in a sub-½ ATR system. This conduction-cooled, fully ruggedized system meets the rigorous standards of MIL-STD-810 while integrating the latest power-saving and performance-enhancing technology. In today's avionics and ruggedized environments, (small) size really does matter, and the XPand3200 sets a new standard for sub-½ ATR computing.

Depending on your processing (or legacy) requirements, XPand3200 can be populated with high-performance, low-power 3U VPX or cPCI X-ES single-board computers, such as:

  • XPedite7170 targeting Intel® Core™2 Duo (SL9380) processor,
  • XPedite5370 hosting Freescale’s dual-core MPC8572E PowerQUICC® III processor,
  • XPedite5170 supporting Freescale’s dual-core MPC8640D (with AltiVec) processor.

For your various I/O requirements, XPand3200 can be configured with various conduction-cooled PMC/XMC or 3rd party modules. Additionally, Gigabit Ethernet, graphics, RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-188-114A, ARINC 429, discrete I/O, as well as custom conduction-cooled PMC/XMC I/O can be supported through the back panel D38999 circular connectors.

An optional ruggedized SATA solid-state memory module provides the convenience of 32 GB - 128 GB removable "shirt pocket" storage. A front panel USB port is also available for system monitoring and maintenance capabilities.
