Denton County Bar Association in 2014
Erin Manley, Executive Director

Happy New Year, Members! I trust everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. It seems 2014 is here already, which brings with it new and exciting events. Starting the New Year off with a bang, we have already begun with a new venue for the DCBA luncheons.

Texas Rules of Civil Procedure

The final Supreme Court of Texas approved the final version of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure in December 2013.  We have included them for your reference and guidance here.

If you missed last month’s CLE with Rick Robertson, here are a few tips of Rick’s favorite apps for using an iPad in the courtroom including:  GoodReader, Elements, Notability, Slideshark and Keynote.  Don’t miss our speaker next month, Dr. Mark Foster, as his topic is “Representing a Parent with Mental Health and Substance Abuse Issues” as the lunch speaker for the Attorney Ad Litem Training (details in CLE Event section).
