Pro Bono and Volunteer Opportunities: Denton County has fantastic lawyers who volunteer and provide pro bono work in a wide variety of ways and for a wide variety of interests. Some of our current volunteer and/or pro bono opportunities are listed here: Wills for Heroes on May 31st, mediator volunteering through Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (DCAP), Veterans Clinic, mentoring opportunities through the Transitions program, Denton County Adoption Day and the Kinship Fair through the Denton County Young Lawyers Association. The Bankruptcy section of the Denton County Bar Association, is open to and intended for anyone that practices in the federal bankruptcy courts or regularly deals with bankruptcy issues. The meetings will be held every second Monday of the month in the Lawyers Lounge in the Library at the Denton County Court House.
