The Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (DCAP) is once again offering members of the DCBA the opportunity to attend a 40 hour basic mediation training.  The event will be held at the University of North Texas beginning July 17, 2014.  Dates and times for the event are as follows:  July 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., July 18 and 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., July 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and July 25 and 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The specific building location is still to be determined.

UNT Professor Leslie Roberts will facilitate this essential 40 hour basic course.  Participants who, upon receiving their certificate, agree to volunteer for 4 mediations at DCAP for each of the next two years will pay nothing for this great training opportunity.  All it takes to hold your spot is a $100 refundable deposit.  Contact Erin Manley at the DCBA office for more details.
