In conjunction with the exhibition at Concordia, I have been working with Concordia students to create Hope Wall I and II in the gallery as part of my artist-in-residence.
There is a publication with an essay by Dr. Megan Arney Johnston, and images will be available at the opening.
I am excited to bring my project, theI Love You Institute, to Festival Unbound at Touchstone Theater in Bethlehem, PA. During the preshow period of each festival event, the community will create a Community Quilt, inspired by the prompt "What are you grateful for?" The piece will culminate in a colorful visual artwork symbolizing our gratitude and shared experience. During the closing ceremonies, the community will carry the quilt to the river and place it on the bridge.
Thanks to the amazing talents of Bryan Pieper, I'm excited to share the all new labovitz.com. Please have a look.
