If you would like to plan your schedule before registration, our class schedule is now up!
You can view the detailed agenda on our retreat website.
Nancy Marchant joins us to teach Brioche and Woven Knitting!

Nancy has been designing knitting patterns since 1974 and her creativity has brought so many new and exciting stitch patterns and techniques to the knitting community. She is a true knitting legend that we are thrilled to have joining us!
Sylvia Watts Cherry is known for her intricate, vibrant intarsia designs. Inspired by the colors & symbolisms of African textiles, her work has been featured in Laine, Pom Pom, Vogue and more.

She'll be teaching all levels of Intarsia at the retreat - try it if you haven't before, or really dig into the possibilities of this knitting technique with her!
Kate Oates joins us to bring classes on tailoring, sweater construction and modifications.

She's published so many of our favorite sweater designs over the years as well as multiple books for kids and adults!
Jennifer Berg is a Navajo/Diné knitwear designer that brings together knitting and heritage in her work. Her beautiful and bold designs have been featured in Making Magazine.

She will be bringing a wealth of knowledge on colorwork and beaded knitting to share with us!
Back by popular demand, Dawn Barker will be teaching a full class load this year!

Join her to learn more about her creative Assigned Pooling techniques, and get inspired on making the most of your yarn scraps.
Britt-Marie Brehmer will be joining us along with Sandy from Shibui knits to talk about how you can modify patterns using different fabrics and yarn combinations!
Join her for a mix party to learn about how to mix Shibui's fibers to create new fabric combinations.

A note on rising costs:
While we always strive to make our retreat as affordable as possible, the rising prices of food and hospitality as well as transportation and shipping have unfortunately made it so that we have a higher cost increase this year than we would have liked, we've tried to minimize this as much as possible but as the event has always been run at cost, there has not been much room to absorb these expenses.

We know that this is a difficult financial time for many and will continue to do our best to make sure there are more scholarship opportunities and affordable opportunities such as day passes available for our retreats.
We are excited to have some additional Scholarship opportunities this year!

We hope that these scholarships will make it possible for some that might not be able to attend to do so. If you or someone you know would like to attend but can't for financial reasons we would invite you to fill out a Scholarship Application here.
La Bien Aimée has very generously offered to sponsor an additional full retreat spot! If you are a BIPOC maker that would like to attend the event, please be sure to fill out our scholarship application and note that you are a BIPOC maker on the application to be considered for the La Bien Aimée scholarship space.
All three of these scholarship spaces are for Full Retreat Attendance and will include all meals (dinner Thursday through brunch Sunday) & accommodations (in a Double Room - shared with one other attendee) for Thursday, Friday & Saturday night, a fantastic luxury swag bag, 4 classes, and entrance to the retreat marketplace.
2023 Retreat  Covid Policies

As with 2022, we will be requiring proof of vaccination to attend the 2023 retreat*. Our hope is that additional restrictions will not be needed at that time. Please be aware, however, that by registering you agree to follow any health and safety guidelines that may be in effect at the time of the retreat.

*you can view the detailed Covid policy on our retreat website
