Voice of the Client Survey:
Now Open for Rolling Participation

Our Voice of the Client Survey is a powerful, customizable, and confidential way to understand what your clients value, how well your firm is delivering on that value, and how you compare to your competitors in the industry. FWA worked with a team of experts (from Bain & Co., Charles Schwab Advisor Services, Pitcairn, Greycourt, Ballentine Partners, and WE Family Offices) to develop an industry-specific approach to evaluating and benchmarking your client experience.

An exciting update: Based on overwhelming interest, we have made the strategic decision to keep the survey infrastructure open indefinitely. Instead of offering the Voice of the Client Survey every other year, firms can now participate on their own timeline.
We strongly encourage firms to participate by the end of June 2022 in order to be included in and receive insights from the first industry benchmarking report to be published later in 2022.

NEW Diversity Fellowship

Students admitted to Columbia University’s Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Wealth Management program for the 2022-2023 academic year will have an opportunity to apply for one full-tuition fellowship, thanks to a new initiative funded by members of the program’s first student cohort.

The Wealth Management Advancing Diversity Fellowship is designed to diversify the financial advising industry as well as to retain and help accelerate the careers of high-caliber professionals from underrepresented groups. It is the first student-funded fellowship offered at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies (SPS).

“As the market for wealth management professionals continues to broaden, educating and training students who represent the diverse communities in which they serve is essential,” said Tracy Schwartz, Interim Director of Columbia’s Wealth Management M.P.S. program. “This fellowship expands the talent pool for potential employers and is aligned with our program’s vision to be the epicenter of diverse talent in the wealth management industry.”

Applications due April 4
