Rachel Maclean: Wot u :-) about?


New work by 2016 Jarman Award shortlisted artist Rachel Maclean is currently on show at Tate Britain. Programmed as part of Tate’s Art Now series and featuring the artist’s latest film, It’s What’s Inside That Counts (2016), Rachel Maclean: Wot u :-) about?, runs until 2 April 2017.

Still Shakespeare at LIAF 2016


Shaun Clark’s Neck & Neck and Kim Noce’s Love in Idleness, will screen as part of this year’s London International Animation Festival (LIAF), 2-11 December. Both films were commissioned as part of Still Shakespeare and produced by FLAMIN, in partnership with King's College London and Film Club at Th1ng and Sherbet.



The ICA will host a special event on Sunday 4 December to celebrate the life and work of Ian White (1971-2013), featuring films made with and dedicated to him. Ian White was a uniquely influential figure: an artist, performer, curator, teacher and writer, as well as a long-time supporter, collaborator and friend of FLAMIN.

Edge of Frame Weekend


Tickets are now on sale for The Edge of Frame Weekend, 9-11 December, a three-day programme celebrating independent and experimental animation. The festival takes place across the Whitechapel Gallery and Close-Up Film Centre, with diverse line-up of artists, including work by FLAMIN alumni Sebastian Buerkner.
