SPOTLIGHT ON
MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness, the awareness of one’s thoughts, feelings, and sensations, can help one be fully present in each moment and contribute to a sense of well-being. In this issue of eNews we explore mindfulness: how to practice it and how it can benefit both patients and health care providers.

MINDFULNESS EXPLAINED
A new article from Virtual Hospice’s spiritual care advisor Rev. Dr. Glen Horst explains the practice of mindfulness and how it can contribute to mental and physical well-being for patients, families and health care professionals.
