Legacies in the Class of 2021

Seventeen members of the Maryville College Class of 2021 are legacies, meaning they have family members who are MC alumni or current students at MC. Several of this year's legacies followed siblings to campus, and one student is the sixth generation in her family to attend MC! Read more about these students on the MC website.

Isaac Anderson Cabin

The two-story log cabin where the Rev. Isaac Anderson lived before founding Maryville College nearly 200 years ago was slated for demolition until this month, when work began to move the structure to a new home at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center. A fundraising campaign is being planned for the cabin’s restoration. Visit the MC website to read the Daily Times story and watch the video!
