"Let the River Run" is the theme for the Maryville College Concert Choir’s 2017 Spring Choir Tour. Performances are scheduled for churches in East Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. If you’re in the area, make plans to attend! The full schedule of performances and alumni gatherings can be found on the MC website.

New VP & Dean

Dr. Melanie V. Tucker has been named vice president and dean of students at Maryville College. Tucker, who is currently serving as vice president of student affairs and enrollment management at Dickinson State University in Dickinson, N.D., will begin her tenure at the liberal arts college on March 20. Two students write bill

ASL Advocacy

A bill written by two MC students is now being considered by legislators in the 110th General Assembly. Their hope is that the bill will increase ASL teaching materials in Tennessee schools. Read the press release.
