Your Gift Makes a DifferenceMorgan Strain in front of Anderson Hall

For four years, Morgan Strain '17 has cheered for the Fighting Scots along the sidelines of Honaker Field and Randy Lambert Court. Her cheers have encouraged players to give their best effort and fans to GET LOUD. She’s seen more wins than losses and knows firsthand the importance of teamwork in reaching a goal. And not just in the realm of athletics. Morgan will reach a personal goal next May, when she graduates with a major in history. She attributes her success to family, classmates, faculty and staff.

"And donors," she adds. "I’ve worked the phone-a-thon every year, and I know firsthand how important those donations are to me and the entire MC community. Giving is so important that I have already made my first gift. I’ll always want Maryville to be on top."

Ever the cheerleader, she encourages those who haven’t already made a gift this fiscal year to do so before Dec. 31.

"C’mon, Scots,” she says, "we can do this!"
