Lockdown transformed how we all live our lives. It also changed how the Council interacts with communities. In those first few months, barriers that once stopped progress were torn down as teams worked in partnership with local people to ensure support was given to those most in need.

Driving a significant part of our initial response was the team behind our Council of the Future Closer to Communities project, now called Closer to Communities with Community Choices.

With winter on the way, it's a good idea to start preparing for the changing weather now. 
A new online health and safety system that will make it easier to report workplace incidents is now live.

The SHE Assure system shreds the need for current paper-based forms, making it easier for employees to report incidents and access health and safety documents.

From Instagram: The Denny Poppies community group knitted more than 1,100 woolly Poppies to decorate the area ahead of Remembrance Sunday. With no formal event permitted, Tamsin Ferrier and Jane MacLean rallied an army of knitters to honour the country's fallen.
