GREY LYNN 2030 OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

We've got this!

It's now well over 50 days since this lockdown began, and we're proud to have seen Grey Lynners playing their part in keeping Tāmaki Makaurau and the rest of Aotearoa as safe as possible. If you are thinking of getting vaccinated and haven't done so yet, you can book at a few different places in Grey Lynn.

See this website for all Auckland vaccination centres. Home Pharmacy on Richmond Rd, Richmond Rd Medical, Westmere Medical Centre, Surrey Medical Centre and Grey Lynn Family Medical Centre are all doing vaccinations.

Climate & Child Friendly Lockdown Activities!

"Taking kids out with a pair of gardening gloves and a rubbish bag to hunt for rubbish along walkways, waterways and parks has been a cool activity for us. Afterwards you can sort out what you found, a good counting exercise and have a discussion about how to dispose of each material. Active, learning and green!" - Nina Campbell GL2030 Trustee.

Also, why not try DIY natural playdough? Easy to make, keeps the kids busy, cheaper and better for the environment! See how you can make your own here.

Grey Lynn Farmers Market Stallholders Online!

Level 3 is not quite Level-Free so the market won't be open just yet. The market is aiming to open again at phase 2 of Level 3, but follow them on Facebook for further updates.

In the meantime, you can continue to order market products from some of our stallholders. At Level 3, a few are able to offer pick-up options. And Bread & Butter's online shop is continuing to stock some stallholder products.

All the details about the stallholders are on the new market website - check it out if you haven't already had a look. New Website.
