Marathon Man

Brian's Off For A Run On Monday!:  We would like to wish our very own action man Brian Tyrrell the very best as he undertakes his second Dublin City Marathon on Monday morning.  Brian will be running with a large team of participants from County Tipperary. Here he is with colleague John Kiely and his racing singlet. Best of luck Brian!

Quarterly Survey

Improving Economy:  The latest County Tipperary Chamber Quarterly Economic Survey results show a local economy turning around.  These results show that 56% of businesses surveyed reported an increase in sales activity in the months June to September compared to the quarter beforehand. AIB Coffee Morning

October 30th:  AIB are delighted to host a coffee morning on 30th October in their Clonmel branch in O'Connell Street with all proceeds going to South Tipperary Hospice. AIB would like to extend an open invitation to the members of the Chamber along with the wider Clonmel Business Community to come and show their support on the day.

Covenant of Mayors: Tipperary County Council has recently become a signatory of The Covenant of Mayors. The Covenant of Mayors is a mainstream European movement involving local and regional authorities, voluntarily committing to increasing energy efficiency and use of renewable energy in their territories. Home Instead Senior Care

Dementia Training: Home Instead Senior Care is sponsoring a public education programme called Dementia Friendly Businessâ„ . This programme is designed to provide businesses within our community training to become a more welcoming environment for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. HISC would like businesses to join in this effort. Since statistically so many seniors could develop this disease, Home Instead Senior Care is offering this Dementia Friendly Business training for FREE. Read more HERE

Training Dates

County Tipperary Skillnet Due to demand County Tipperary Skillnet have booked a third Training Delivery and Evaluation course. Day one of this course will be in December and we will complete the course in January.

Funding YOUR Business

November 19th:  We have assembled a panel of speakers to highlight a number of ways that you can access funding for your business now and in 2016.
