It is the day the stars of National Hunt horse racing come to Clonmel. The feature race has been won in the past by such household names as Dorans Pride, Beef Or Salmon, War Of Attrition, Sizing Europe and last year’s winner Road To Riches. The first of seven top class races will get underway at 12.35pm.
Admission is €15 (OAP/Students €10) and there will be live music in the bar after racing.

Stress Test the Business Idea!

'QUESTUM is looking forward to hosting a new and exciting addition to its training calendar, the Limerick Institute of Technology’s Stress Test the Business Idea programme run over four/five consecutive nightly workshops from 6.00pm to 9.00pm in the QUESTUM training room, delivered by Bridgewater Consulting who specialise in enterprise development, innovation, finance, strategy, production innovation and business plan development as well as other areas of expertise.

Red Nose Wine After-Hours Corporate Wine Tasting for STHM
5.30pm - 6.30pm Thurs 24th November at Raheen House

Launch of Skillnets' Statement of Strategy 2016-2019

Skillnets launched its four-year strategy on 3rd November 2016. The strategy was developed following a thorough consultation process with key stakeholders, including County Tipperary Skillnet, and is closely aligned to the National Skills Strategy 2025 and other relevant policies. Speaking at the launch of Skillnets’ Statement of Strategy 2016-2019, Paul Healy, Chief Executive, Skillnets said: “Skillnets will be playing an increased role in maintaining a supply of the specific and future skills that impact on the growth potential of Irish firms. By working on the ground with our networks and member companies, we are exceptionally well placed with the intelligence and insights to ensure training interventions are relevant to the needs of enterprise and are of a high standard.”

AQS Environmental Solutions wins Fleet Transport Award !

AQS Environmental Solutions won a Fleet Transport Award for its work to develop sustainable systems for transporting and managing waste.
It was named the winner in the Environment category, which recognises companies that show excellence in developing responsible and innovative strategies and processes in fleet transport management.
AQS Environmental Solutions, one of Ireland’s leading drainage and wastewater utility specialists, has its headquarters in Thurles, Tipperary, with bases also in Limerick and Cork.

Stan O’Reilly, Commercial Director for AQS Environmental Solutions, said: “This is a great moment for us. We are very pleased to be recognised for our continuing efforts to develop environmentally-sustainable services.
