Ahead of GE2016 on Friday next, there has been good news on the jobs front this week with 150 jobs being announced across the county with MSD(Kilsheelan), AQS(Thurles) and Technopath(Ballina).

The Chamber is one of the invited guests at the second Tipp FM candidates debate which will take place this morning (Friday) between 10am and Midday at the Horse & Jockey hotel.  Chamber President Mark Small will be questioning the candidates about their commitment to a better business environment in Tipperary.

Six Nations Breakfast
24th February: Our Six Nations Breakfast event with Permanent TSB next Wednesday is almost booked out.
Main speaker will be Munster/Ireland legend Denis Leamy and guests who will look back at the Six Nations so far and preview the crucial Ireland v England clash next Saturday in Twickenham. Book now HERE.

 

M-EX Event
Success:  Our first Manufacturing Excellence workshop of 2016 held last Friday in our Questum offices was a huge success. Dr Gemma Robinson from Acorn Regulatory gave an excellent presentation which was very well received by all that attended. See pictures and a report from the event HERE.

St Patrick's Day Parade

March 17th: The 2016 St Patrick's Day Parade in Clonmel promises to be bigger and better than ever this year! We are encouraging as many local community and voluntary groups to take part in the parade which commences at 3pm and follows the usual route. Entry is free and pre-booking is essential.
