Economic and Trade Agreement with Canada

Chambers Ireland yesterday (27/10/2016) welcomed news from Brussels that an agreement had been reached by the four regional parliaments of Belgium to support the Comprehensive Economic and Trade agreement with Canada. Read more!

visited
Questum last Monday the 14th
of October for it's official opening.
This LIT Research and Enterprise
Acceleration Centre is currently
home to 10 emerging high potential
startup companies and will be home
to the LEAP Startup Programme
starting later this year.
The opening was a great day with
over 60 attendees and many guest
speakers such as, Minister Breen,
Liam Brown, VP Research,
Enterprise & Development at LIT,
Cllr Siobhan Ambrose from
Tipperary County Council
and Prof Vincent Cunnane,
President of LIT.






‘QUESTUM is looking forward to hosting a new and exciting addition to its training calendar, the Limerick Institute of Technology’s Stress Test the Business Idea programme run over four/five consecutive nightly workshops from 6.00pm to 9.00pm in the QUESTUM training room, delivered by Bridgewater Consulting who specialise in enterprise development, innovation, finance, strategy, production innovation and business plan development as well as other areas of expertise.

This Test-the-Business-Idea programme will look at the jobs-to-be-done and the opportunity-landscape, so participants understand the concepts and know how to use the tools they will be given over the duration of the programme to test their business idea. To find out more click here!

Christmas marketing initiative - Clonmel

As a marketing initiative for Clonmel town a free "Whats On Clonmel " event guide is being created for Christmas. This is an initiative between local Traders, the County Council and the Chamber. We are looking for any events your members may be running throughout the Christmas period from 18th November 2016 to the 6th January 2017. Red Nose Wine After-Hours Corporate Wine Tasting for STHM
5.30pm - 6.30pm on Thursday, 24th of November at Raheen House

Red Nose Wine has announced an exciting charity wine tasting will take place on Thursday, 24th of November at Raheen House Hotel in Clonmel.Winemakers from Bodegas Sommos, Northern Spain, Chateau Viranel in Southern France and Champagne Duval-Leroy will all be present at the event showcasing some of their vineyards finest and sharing their stories.The event promises to be a great networking event with an educational twist for those who want to learn a little or a lot while tasting on the night whilst raising much-needed funds for South Tipperary Hospice Movement.
 
County Tipperary and Clonmel Chamber Members are invited to come along to a special after-hours wine tasting and networking event from 5.30 - 6.30pm. For those who have a requirement for corporate gifts, this evening offers an ideal opportunity to taste the large selection of wines on offer and see the presentation packs, hampers and mixed cases available from Red Nose Wine for Christmas 2016.
