Red Nose Wine After-Hours Corporate Wine Tasting for STHM

Clonmel & County Tipperary Chamber Members are invited to come along to a special after-hours wine tasting and networking event from 5.30-6.30pm. Stress Test the Business Idea!

'QUESTUM is looking forward to hosting a new and exciting addition to its training calendar, the Limerick Institute of Technology’s Stress Test the Business Idea programme run over four/five consecutive nightly workshops from 6.00pm to 9.00pm in the QUESTUM training room, delivered by Bridgewater Consulting who specialise in enterprise development, innovation, finance, strategy, production innovation and business plan development as well as other areas of expertise.
This Test-the-Business-Idea programme will look at the jobs-to-be-done and the opportunity-landscape, so participants understand the concepts and know how to use the tools they will be given over the duration of the programme to test their business idea. To find out more click here! If you have a business idea that needs to be stress-tested and are interested in participating in the programme, please contact Derek Blackweir-

County Tipperary Skillnet- Guarding Security Job Seeker Support Programme
 

County Tipperary Skillnet successfully delivered the first of three 'Guarding Security QQI L4' programmes for Job Seekers in Waterford last week. The second course is currently running in Clonmel with a third due to commence in December 2016. For more information click here!
 

Chambers Ireland Welcome New Strategy on Positive Fiscal Stance by European Commission

Commenting on the commencement of the 2017 European Semester, Ian Talbot Chief Executive, Chambers Ireland said, “This important change of stance by the Junker Commission points to a recognition that the European Union and the Eurozone in particular, is at risk of suffering from structural low economic growth and almost zero inflation. The utility of European monetary policy has been all but exhausted by the efforts undertaken by the ECB since the financial crisis, so a new strategy was a necessity." Read more...

Revenue PAYE Modernisation
Consultation

Chambers Ireland will be preparing
a submission in relation to
Revenue’s proposals to modernise
the PAYE system, as announced by
Minister Noonan in his Budget statement.
The consultation paper is available here
and calls for the views of employers,
employees, payroll providers, tax practitioners,
bookkeepers etc on PAYE modernisation.
