||The countdown is on! We're excited to present an amazing group of exhibitors at Art San Diego this November, from local rising stars to established artists and galleries from around the world. In addition to showcasing a wide array of cutting-edge artwork, ASD will feature captivating programming, special events, and lively entertainment to add to the festivities of Balboa Park's Centennial Celebration. Take a peek at a few of the San Diego-area galleries that will be featured at ASD this fall and you'll see why we're so thrilled about this year's show.
McNabb Martin Contemporary Art
The McNabb Martin Contemporary Art Gallery showcases innovative original works by international and regional artists, as well as an ever-increasing number of San Diego artists. MMCA's emphasis is on emerging and mid-career artists with exhibition and museum credentials. The gallery prides itself on representing a roster of artists with diversity in style and media.
NODO Galeria is a Tijuana-based gallery that emerged in 2009 during an art festival in which abandoned stores along downtown Tijuana’s Pasaje Rodriguez were used to exhibit contemporary artworks from young artists over a four-day period. Following that pop-up exhibition, a few artists decided to rent out the shops in order to create a more permanent studio and gallery space—thus, NODO was born, bringing cultural growth to its urban location.
Alexander Salazar Fine Art
Featuring the works of national and international mid-career and emerging artists, Alexander Salazar Fine Art opened in downtown San Diego in 2010. Boasting over 15 years of experience as an art dealer and multiple advanced degrees, Salazar brings a rich and varied perspective to the art world, and his gallery reflects that.
