The 4th season of Emmanuel's Soup & Sound Advent Concert Series features music on the newly-refurbished von Beckerath organ.
The concert series moves from music for organ solo to organ duo (4 hands and feet!), and ends with a trio of organ, cello, and flute. The series features organists Susan Bloomfield, Sam Libra, Wyatt Smith, and Susanna Valleau; cellist Carson Farley; and flutist Ian McKnight.
Held on Fridays December 1, 8 and 15, our Soup & Sound concert series is unique in that it seeks to nourish both the body (with homemade soup) and the soul (with beautiful music) during this busy season.
Each concert begins at 11:30AM with a luncheon of homemade soup & bread made by Emmanuel's Soup Group Ministry. Soup is followed by music in the church from 12:00-12:45PM. There is NO CHARGE for lunch or the concert.
