This is my final post of 2017!

It's your friend, Julie Miguel, here.  I'm just writing to say hello, Happy Holidays and to give you an update!

This is my final post of 2017!  This year has been amazingly exciting and amazingly difficult for me.  I think that pretty much sums up full time blogging in a nutshell and I mean that in the most positive way possible : )

I’m constantly trying to reinvent myself based on external pressures of always doing something different.  When you look around at everyone else, you see brands and you see that everyone has a niche.  I am going into 2018 embracing my niche…I’m going to just do me.  I am not going to worry about what I think the masses want because if there’s one thing I learned over the years it is definitely that you can’t please everyone…and I’m okay with that!  I am trying my best and I am happy that my efforts have been successful in making a nice group of you satisfied. I truly couldn’t ask for more!

I have always been all about good food and happy memories that are created simply.  I want my recipes, travel and everything else I ever write about here to be approachable and to make you want to get into your kitchens and cook or jump in the car and head out on a road trip.  I never want you to feel overwhelmed or to get down on yourself from what you’re reading here.  Daily Tiramisu started because I wanted a positive place where people can come and be “picked up”...
