CLASSIC SILENT FILM
ON THE LOEW’S MOVIE PALACE BIG SCREEN
“MY BEST GIRL” starring Mary Pickford and Charles “Buddy” Rogers

with Bernie Anderson, Jr playing the
Wonder Morton Theatre Pipe Organ
Plus Short Silent Film
“MOVIE NIGHT” starring Charlie Chase

“My Best Girl” stars Mary Pickford as Maggie, a lowly shop girl, who works in the big-city five-and-ten-cent store and falls in love with the owner’s son, Joe, played by Mary’s future husband Charles “Buddy”Rogers. (1926 UCLA restored version)
“Movie Night” - A family goes on its weekly outing to the movies, but the evening is hampered by an attempt to pass the wife's brother off as a child, a crowded theater, and the daughter's apparently contagious case of the hiccups.
Both films will be presented in their original aspect ratio with 35 mm projection.
If you have enjoyed the entrance music played on the Loew’s Wonder Morton before shows, you will be blown away when you hear the organ accompanying a silent film. The perfect match of organ and theatre. (Named the Best Movie Theatre Organ in NY by The Village Voice.) It will be a truly unique afternoon of wonderful music and great fun. Don’t miss it.
