Annual Park Spruce-up - May 16th 9:30-12:30

Join Friends of Grand Rapids Parks for our annual spring cleaning day and show the world how much you love our parks! We are inviting neighborhood residents, City residents, families, friends, nature enthusiasts, and everyone in between to join us for this one day, ten park clean up!

Park Leaders and our superstar volunteers will be on hand at each park to welcome you and guide you to a fun park clean up project. Each park will have all the snacks, water, and tools you will need; all we need is you! Volunteers will work on lots of different projects but some potential projects include: pulling invasive plants, sprucing up playgrounds, and removing trash and debris. As with all of our volunteer events, folks should be sure to wear lace up shoes and bring along a pair of gloves.

Below is the full list of parks participating in our special park clean up day!
