Good beer and good conversation at Founders
Going Native is back! Last summer, folks from all over the county came together over Founders beers to talk about native plants and learn from local experts and we had a great time! This spring, the band is back together for a special edition of Going Native, Pollinators: Small and Mighty.
River City Wild Ones' Marty MacCleery and Michigan Natural Features Inventory's Jesse Lincoln will bring their good humor and expert knowledge to center stage on March 1st to present on the pollinator crisis. They'll tackle questions like: What can we do in our backyards to help our mighty pollinators? How does the lack of honey bees impact our local environment and ecosystems? And you'll get to hear it all with a beer and appetizer in hand!
Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, River City Wild Ones, and Native Edge, LLC are proud to announce that tickets are on sale now! You can grab an Early Bird Ticket for $15 until February 10th and standard $20 tickets are on sale until March 1st! Click here to grab your tickets now!
