Word from the Director

Thank you to everyone that visited our office warming party or sent well wishes.  We are grateful for all your support as we grow our capacity to deliver on our mission to protect, enhance and expand parks and public space.

Please mark your calendars for our free May 2nd Annual Meeting at Bistro Bella Vita to learn about what's planned for 2013-14, celebrate some victories, and mingle with Friends.  It will also be an opportunity to meet our new Project Coordinator,  Kyle VanStrien, and our Urban Forest Project Intern, Blake Hamilton.

Thank you to our volunteers that braved the cold this March to help kick off the volunteer season.  Spring weekends are  filling up fast with great groups doing  great work for our city's parks.

Finally, thank you to all those MYGRCITYPOINTS donors that chose to support parks with their points.  We are excited to work with the City of GR and residents of several neighborhoods to plan and implement  improvements.
