Application Information

Dear parent,

We join with schools in Ottawa and elsewhere in acknowledging that this has been a challenging time, but one that has only reaffirmed our appreciation for our students, their families, and especially our teachers.

While St. Timothy's remains closed in accordance with government and public health directives, our students are continuing to learn, using materials provided weekly by their teachers, and even some live online classes for our older grades in key subjects. We are also providing our parents with additional resources; there are many wonderful opportunities for students at home that this time lends itself to, particularly igniting a passion for reading and great literature.

If you've expressed an interest in St. Timothy’s you likely already know that our curriculum is unique. Classical education can be described in many ways, but one way to think about it is taking what's best from the past and the present in order to prepare students well for the future.

We seek to provide a well-rounded education for hearts and minds because we want each child to experience life well-lived.

It is hard to think about the future right now. There are many uncertainties as we all fight a virus we don't fully understand. But as a school we continue to think and plan for the coming Fall.

For those wishing to apply for the 2020-2021 academic year, we are accepting applications by mail/email. The application details can be found here. Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions.

Please note that although we are still accepting applications and doing assessments, at this point students in grades 5-8 will be put on a wait list until we have more clarity about next year. We are still admitting students into the lower grades.

We continue to place our trust in God, as we protect ourselves and the most vulnerable around us.

Dr. Jenny Small, Director

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things. "
