We invite you to the second webinar with an Expert from the International Advisory Council.

The guest speaker will be Prof. Andrea Gallamini, who will give a talk on Imaging as a new paradigm to understand physiopathology and guide the treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma. The event is scheduled for May 11 (Tuesday), will begin at 4 p.m., and will last approximately one and a half hours. It will be held using the Clickmeeting platform.
Andrea Gallamini is a Professor of Hematology at the Department of Research and Innovation of the Antoine Lacassagne Cancer Center in Nice. She collaborates with the Post Graduation Schools of Hematology at the University of Turin and the University of Cagliari. Professor Gallamini's main research interests are treatment and functional imaging in Hodgkin's lymphoma and treatment of peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Professor Gallamini is the author of the prognostic index for T-cell lymphomas and was one of the first in the world to define the role of early PET/CT in assessing the response of Hodgkin's lymphoma patients. He is the co-developer of the Deauville Scale used in the evaluation of PET/CT studies in lymphoma and the principal investigator of several key clinical trials in Hodkin's lymphoma. He has collaborated with the Medical University of Gdańsk and Polish hematologists for 13 years, for which he was awarded the medal of the Polish Society of Hematologists and Transfusionists. Together with Prof. Jan Maciej Zaucha, he is the principal investigator of an international non-commercial clinical trial funded by the Medical Research Agency, which is conducted in patients with early Hodgkin's lymphoma.

First grant competition for experienced researchers of the MUG launched

The competition aims to support researchers with a postdoctoral degree or professor title, in particular in the implementation of research leading to external funding of research projects through a competition or publication of results in a Q1 journal in one of the disciplines evaluated at the University.
Applications may be submitted by persons who, on the date of application for financial support from the MUG, are not managers of research projects financed from external sources. The application can be submitted by completing the application form available on the e-Scientist portal. The application, along with attachments, should be submitted to the Office for Science. Call for applications lasts until May 28.
