Our first collaboration with Threshold Festival! Yay!

We're absolutely delighted to be collaborating with Threshold Festival this year to present Liverpool: Wondrous Place; a fantastic evening of music and conversation with Paul Du Noyer on Sunday 10th March, 7pm at Camp & Furnace.

Music is the heart of Liverpool.  No other city in the world is as well known and loved for its vibrant musical history; nowhere else has produced more number one hit singles per capita.  Liverpool is a city obsessed with entertainment, alive with excitement and possibility.

Paul Du Noyer’s massively acclaimed book Liverpool: Wondrous Place takes us on a tour of Liverpool’s rich musical history, exploring the city through its atmosphere, personality and influences.
Featuring artists from Billy Fury, The Mojos and The Real Thing to Shack, Echo and the Bunnymen and Deaf School; the book also covers Liverpool’s poets, painters, playwrights, comedians and football teams; its Irish influx, the influence of the sea and seafarers; its civic disturbances and its politics.
In this must-see interview, author, journalist and editor Paul Du Noyer talks to Mike Neary about Liverpool: Wondrous Place, our uniquely creative yet notorious city and reveals why Liverpool is not just a place where the music happens, it’s the reason why the music happens.
Featuring live performances from Threshold favourites Natalie McCool and Thom Morecroft with tracks chosen from Paul Du Noyer's 'Top 100 Liverpool Songs'.

Paul will also be signing copies of Liverpool: Wondrous Place on the night.  Copies of the book will be available for sale (cash only).
