Studio updates by Judy Jacobs Art

Is it me just getting old and cranky, or are you also noticing Thanksgiving is becoming a forgotten Holiday?  The stores are putting out Christmas ornaments before Halloween is even over; Black Friday sales are beginning days/weeks before Black Friday; and big box stores are announcing (nay - bragging) about being open ON Thanksgiving Day!  It just seems wrong.

For me, Thanksgiving is a time to think about the past year and be mindful of
all the good things that have happened.  It's the time to celebrate with family and good friends.  And it's the time to give thanks and be grateful - for no matter how bad things may seem, there's always someone else going through something worse.

So to start the season off, I'd like to give each and every one of you a huge and heartfelt "THANK YOU" for being a part of my life, and to let you know how grateful I am for your friendship and patronage that allows to continue making my art and being creative.

Have an amazing Thanksgiving!!

NOTE:  This newsletter was written prior to the horrific incidents in Paris on 11/13/15.
Shortly after the attacks, a man on a bicycle pulling a piano stopped in front of the
Bataclan Theater in Paris to play this emotional and beautiful rendition of
John Lennon's song, "Imagine."

I hope you'll join me in sending healing thoughts and prayers to all those
affected by this cruel and senseless tragedy.

Mark your calendars for my annual Holiday Gift Show!
