Cancer Service Improvement Officer
With more than 20 years experience in project management and process improvement, Glenn's ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders to ensure collaborative outcomes, and effective improvements, is instrumental in his current role at GICS. He enjoys running around the lake with his one year old, learning to longboard surf, and writing screen plays. He says the best part of his job is working with the Consumer Advisory Group on great projects, with great people.

Grampians Data Initiative

In response to an information needs survey conducted recently, GICS will be making group-level data available for health service and professionals’ use in the Grampians region. See the newsletter in early 2017 for the details and types of data that will be routinely available, and the process for applying for specific grouped data.

Grampians pilot launch
On Friday 4 November, My Cancer Care Record Grampians Region pilot project was launched, with approximately 50 healthcare professionals and patients attending. Read more....

Acupuncture for hot flushes  
Acupuncture is a complimentary therapy that can be used to alleviate hot flushes and improve wellbeing. As part of the GICS Cancer Service Improvement Grants, Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) is developing an acupuncture program within the Wellness Centre.
