Breakfast of Champions Coming Soon

Sustainability Champions play a major role in realizing the vision of the Cochrane Sustainability Plan. In the coming weeks, SPUR will be hosting another Breakfast of Champions where Champions can learn, share and plan for the future. Champions can look for their invitations via email, coming soon.

Sustainability in the news

The July 17 edition of the Cochrane Times featured an article by Sustainability Ambassador Judy Stewart.  In Working Towards a Vision of Sustainability, Judy highlights the role of the CSP and how we can all make a difference. You can read the article here.

After the flood

There's no doubt that the recent flooding in Southern Alberta was devastating. In the midst of the destruction, there was good news -- people coming together to support each other with sandbagging, cleanup and other needs. Help is still needed, particularly at the Morley Reserve. You can learn more about ways to help on this Facebook page.
This year Cochrane's Ranche Days event will be held August 3 at the Cochrane Ranche House Historic Site.  Check out the largest Farmers' Market of the year, presentations, activities and more. And stop by the SPUR table, where you can learn about ways to get involved with the Cochrane Sustainability Plan. Learn more.
