There are some fantastic things taking place across the neighbourhood during the next few weeks, starting this weekend with a range of Easter activities - have a look at 'Dates for your Diary' to see what's happening.

HEELEY FESTIVAL - BOOK A STALL!

Planning is now underway for this years’ Heeley Festival, taking place on Saturday 18th June, 12-5pm in and around Heeley People’s Park.
 
The biggest community event in Heeley, last year the event welcomed over
5,000 visitors on the day.  A range of stall options are available, with prices starting at just £15
 
Car booters are once again invited to book a pitch on the Anns Grove School site at this years’ Car Boot & Flea Market, with prices starting at £10 per vehicle/pitch.
 
And as always, there are opportunities for people to be involved, whether that’s volunteering, performing or coming up with new ideas – please get in touch if you think you could help.  For all stall info and enquiries call 250 0613 or email info@heeleypark.org

 
ART EXHIBITION AT BISHOPS HOUSE

Curious House will showcase site-specific artwork created by artists Louise Finney, Lyndall Phelps, Rachel Emily Taylor & Caroline Claisse. The artists will use Bishops’ House as a creative stimulus to create engaging new work in response to the house, its association, and collection. Curious House exhibition is part of the Art Sheffield 2016 Parallel Programme and is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

COMMUNITY LEARNING 

A full program of extended education courses will be commencing at various local venues in April.

Brand new classes in mixed yoga and make-up, hair and beauty alongside ESOL levels 1,2, and 3, Functional Skills English and maths and a range of computer courses including IT Essentials and introductions to ipads and tablets.
