Lost & Found Records
“Working on Engines” is my newest CD, released in 2016. The 12 tracks feature the full sound of my electric band with several rockers, a few country songs, and even a couple of cajun grooves. Response has been great from listeners, local radio and the press! Check out these reviews and interviews:
This all-Knoxville, TN band features Nate Barrett on drums and Chris Zuhr on bass. I played a bunch of guitar, along with some lap steel, fiddle, and electric mandolin. Barry "Po" Hannah played guitar, including great solos on several songs. We even had special guest appearances by Tim Lee on electric 12 string, and a Mockingbird poem by Knoxville Poet Laureate R.B. Morris. We recorded the basic tracks with John Harvey and Mary Podio of Austin's Top Hat Recording, who recently transplanted their studios to Knoxville. I did the rest of the work at my own studio.
About Basically Sane
"Basically Sane" is my all acoustic solo CD from 2010. It makes a great compliment to "Working on Engines." I still play all these songs in my live shows. If you missed this CD, now's a great time to get it!

New Jay Clark CD: Of Mountains and Heartbreak
Here's another reminder to check out Jay Clark's new CD. I’ve been playing with Jay for a few years now (along with upright bassist Daniel Kimbro, as the Tennessee Tree Beavers). Jay, Daniel and I recorded "Of Mountains and Heartbreak" in the winter and spring at Thomm Jutz’s studio near Nashville. Thomm is an amazing acoustic guitarist and the four of us had a great time playing Jay’s new songs into the microphones. We’re all so proud of this record and I hope you’ll check it out. The songs all come from a love of the outdoors, outrage at the destruction of the mountains, and love of family and friends.

Prison Break-In film now on iTunes!
“Prison Break-In” is a feature length film I worked on in 2014 (and is neither a “prison movie” or a “crime drama," so...) It’s a heartfelt charmer filmed in Knoxville and directed by my friend Amy Hubbard. It features lots of Knoxville music. I wrote and played the instrumental score and contributed two songs, along with songs by pals Jeff Barbra, Tim Lee 3, Hudson K, Barstool Romeos, Bus Driver Tour and more. The film just became available to rent or buy on iTunes, click here.
