Apps I use almost every single day

I'm back! Thank you for sticking around during my unanticipated hiatus. Starting this month, I'll be sending you some of the best productivity and creativity apps to help you get a slice of work/life tech zen.

Let me be your curator. If you're interested in managing information overload and technology overwhelm, I'll also send you links to some articles I've read or published with tips and perspectives on finding calm in our uber-connected world.

I'm compiling my #worklifetechzen content here: http://worklifetechzen.com.
Here are 4 apps that I use all the time and love.

1. HelloSign

Yes, digital signatures are valid and legally enforceable and have been since 2000. Stop the printing, scanning and emailing madness and use HelloSign for quick and easy signatures. This is the simplest one I've tried. Try HelloSign.

You may also want to try HelloFax if you still sending documents to people with fax machines like financial institutions and doctors' offices.

2. Boomerang for Gmail

I'm an insomniac and tend to respond to emails at 3am, but I don't want people to know (shhh...don't tell anyone). So I schedule my emails via Boomerang for Gmail.* Handy!

3. Buffer

You can't be everywhere at once, but we all know that if we aren't keeping a steady stream of messaging going in our social networks, they disappear from people's feeds. I manage multiple social media accounts using Buffer and especially like their browser bookmarklet for stockpiling interesting articles that trickle out to my feeds over time. Try Buffer.

Caveat:
Scheduling should never replace paying attention and being present online.

4. Pocket

Found a great article online but don't have the time to read it yet? I "Pocket" it for later. Then I access Pocket on my iPhone or iPad [here's the Android version] when I'm standing in line at the grocery store or bank or waiting for at an appointment. You don't have to consume all the information at once. Get Pocket.

What are your Go-To Apps? Reply to this email and let me know. Include how you'd like me to credit you if I include your recommendation in a future email!
