Merry Christmas from science made simple!
We had a LOT of fun creating this video of 12 science demonstrations for you to share during the festive season!
We swam over 230 miles for CALM!
Wow! After a huge effort, smelling like chlorine and early starts, our swim challenge is over! As a company, we swam over 230 miles in 3 months, raising over £1,250 for the fantastic charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). A massive thank you to everyone who donated and for those of you who would like to donate to this worthwhile cause then you can do so here
Zoë has recently returned from presenting on the Lablive tour and the Gloucestershire Schools Christmas Lecture. Organised by Cheltenham Science Festival, Lablive presenters tour the UK - bringing the fun and wonder of the science festival into schools.
She performed Music to Your Ears and Engineering for Life to hundreds of Y8 and Y9 pupils.
"Really engaging...good to see a female representing STEM, as makes our girls believe in it"
Teacher at The Cotswold School
Working alongside Zoë was Zoologist Jules Howard. Jules delivered an engaging talk about evolution - including the popular 'Wheel of Death!' Everyone involved had a fabulous time - huge thanks to Cheltenham Science Festival!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from
In 2016, the science made simple team...

Presented to more than

We are incredibly proud to have brought science to life for so many people!
Photo of the Month
Becca and Rhys were both awarded distinctions in their LAMDA Speaking in Public Grade 8 exam! Fantastic achievement!
All of our presenters study for this qualification, ensuring our shows are presented to the highest standard.
This month space made simple attended St Fagans National History Museum for their annual Astronomy Evening. Despite the wind and the rain there was a great turnout with people enjoying our 3D shows, using our telescopes, and learning about meteorites.
BIAZA conference at Blackpool Zoo
David was honoured to be asked back to work at this fabulous conference for zoo and aquarium professionals for a second time. David looked at the many biological science stories that can be brought to life with science busking! In this photo David has everyone sitting on balloons to show how polar bears stay warm by trapping air!
Leanne and Dan had great fun in County Mayo in Ireland presenting our soldering workshop, Madlab. They taught a whopping 160 students to successfully solder their own working electronic circuit in just one day!
